Return Policy

We at Battery Town strive to provide an outstanding selection of products and customer service. We understand that customers are the key to our success.

It is important for our customers to understand that each product sold falls under warranty terms established within the industry and respective manufacturers.

  • DEFECTIVE/NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCT RETURN

    • In-Store Purchase

      Customers may return items within seven days of invoice. Items returned after seven days but within 30 days of invoice will receive store credit or may be exchanged for other products.

    • Online Purchase

      Customers may return items within thirty days of invoice. Invoice date is often the same date as the shipping date. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained prior to returning the item either by calling us at (661) 255-8011 or by filling out the online Returns form.

      If the request qualifies for returns, then you will receive an RMA number along with returns instructions. Please note that no returns of any type will be accepted without a RMA number.

      For faster service, please have the following information on hand when calling for an RA number: customer name, order number, item number and serial number and the reason for the return. Upon receipt of a RMA, customers are given 14 days to return the product.

      Please note that original shipping charges are not refundable. Shipping charges on returned products are the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend you use a traceable carrier and fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage.

  • ORDER DISCREPANCIES

    Any order discrepancies such as missing components, fulfillment error and short-shipments must be reported to the Customer Service Department within seven days invoice date.

  • NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

    • CUSTOM CONFIGURATIONS

      No returns or refunds will be made for items that are special ordered for you or for unusual custom configurations of systems.

    • CLEARANCE AND OPEN BOX PRODUCT

    • OTHER NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

      Several manufacturers' policies and restrictions disallow product returns. For example, powersports (Dry-Charge AGM) batteries cannot be returned once the battery has been activated.

      Other manufacturers also have a list, so please call us for the latest information.

      You may need to contact the manufacturer directly regarding return or replacement of these brands under their respective guarantees and/or warranties. Please contact us if you would like to obtain copies of the manufacturers' guarantees and warranties prior to purchase.

    • MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

      Some items offer a Money Back Guarantee from the manufacturer. In those instances, Battery Town will not accept product returns. You will need to contact the manufacturer directly regarding return of the product and policies regarding such return. Please contact us if you would like to obtain copies of manufacturers' guarantees and warrantees, including any MBG, prior to purchase.

    • DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

      Shipment must be refused if you notice any visible damage or tampering on the box. Should the shipment be accepted, you must note the damage on the carrier's delivery record in accordance with the carrier's policy, save the merchandise in the original box and packing it arrived in, and notify Battery Town immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and pick up. Concealed damage on a shipment must be reported within seven days of receipt. If you do not notify Battery Town of damaged goods within the first seven days of arrival, the regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and your purchase(s) will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions.

  • RESTOCKING FEE

    Restocking/processing fees: All refused orders will be subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee. Refused orders may be subject to additional shipping charges to cover the cost of returning the products to Battery Town.

    A minimum restock/processing fee of 10% will be applied to products returned as defective that test to be operational upon return. Additionally, any items returned with missing accessories or is incomplete/not original packaging will be subject to the minimum 10% restock fee. All late, non-defective, and/or incomplete returns are subject to minimum 10% restocking fee.
